Vitality And Health In Men

Hormonal balance defines genders in human beings when regulated throughout life at just the precise moment. Testosterone is a male hormone produced in the testes that regulates vitality and sexuality in men. Before a man hits puberty, the testosterone levels in the male body are at a low rate. Once a boy hits puberty, testosterone levels rise up, causing significant changes in the male body such as growth in muscle mass, body hair, lowering of voice, and changes in their sexual functioning. It also fuels their mental and physical energy, maintains muscle mass, regulates the fight-or-flight response along with other key evolutionary features. However, by the middle age, the testosterone levels typically begin dropping at a significant level, thereby causing certain health issues.

Typically, the testosterone levels in men decline at an average rate of 1% per year after the age of 30 years. Therefore, the male menopause, also known as andropause, occurs approximately at about the same age as the female menopause. While andropause is as normal as menopause, it is usually overlooked because it is not as obvious as it is in women and it is not essentially experienced by all men. Andropause, however, causes various physical, sexual, as well as psychological, control in men, which can include the following symptoms:

  • Low energy
  • Depression and sadness
  • Lowered self confidence and motivation
  • Insomnia
  • Concentration problems
  • Decreased metabolism
  • Physical weakness and loss of muscular mass
  • Reduced libido and infertility
  • Development of breasts
  • Decreased bone density

When the andropause stage comes, it can be disorienting and may cause sexual complexions in men, leading to stress and anxiety. Low levels of testosterone also lead to decreased testicle size, loss of body hair, hot flashes, and osteoporosis, although these are rare.

Thankfully, there are natural solutions for combating all these demoralising effects of andropause. Herbs have been used for centuries and have received validation in its potency in such cases. The following are some of the herbs that are easily available as natural supplements and work the best.

Ashwagandha has an active agent called Withania Somnifera which is primarily used for dealing with stress and anxiety. It is known to promote fertility in men and promotes better sperm quality. The herb also helps in increasing energy levels which is one of the primary symptoms of andropause. NuvoMed Ashwagandha herbal supplements in USA provide all these health benefits in a simple way, without any hassles.

The active compound, protodioscin, is a precursor to testosterone and also acts as a great vasodilator which allows healthy blood flow to the penis, allowing for a normal and full erection. Tribulus Terrestris works to its full extent when paired with Ashwagandha.

Maca, also known as Peruvian Ginseng, is a natural aphrodisiac and sexual endurance enhancer. Research shows that consumption of Maca leads to significant erectile response. It is also known to boost sperm quality on regular consumption.

Through various natural therapies, men can reduce the andropausal symptoms so they can enjoy a satisfying second act of their lives. NuvoMed Vitality supplements also help with the same. When it comes to herbs and spices and their health benefits, all sorts of names crop up; Turmeric, Cinnamon, Clove, Oregano, Thyme, Cilantro, Rosemary and so on. There is one important spice, however, that is usually ignored. This spice is embraced and loved by the entire world, and yet is overlooked when it comes to its health benefits. Any guesses as to what this spice might be? Chillies! That’s right! We are going to explore the benefits of including this simple spice in our day-to-day lives.

Cayenne pepper is possibly one of the most underutilized spices in the pantry, globally. It could boost metabolism, improve your heart health, and even reduce pain. Besides, it adds zing to any meal, and a little kick never hurt anyone! The vibrant red hue of the Cayenne peppers is the courtesy of its active ingredient capsaicin, which may also keep cancer at bay!

Capsaicin in Cayenne pepper is a chemical that increases body heat and its metabolic rate. This process is known as diet induced thermogenesis. It can help in maintaining healthy weight balance by increasing metabolism and reducing the appetite. A study suggests that consuming capsaicin may lead to a reduction in the levels of the hunger hormone, ghrelin, which can also reduce untimely craving, and thus, promote weight management. There are people who worry that the chilli might irritate the digestive system; however, there’s been evidence that suggests that capsaicin could actually aid digestion by increasing digestive fluid production while reducing the risk of ulcers.

Cayenne peppers are known to boost vascular health, reduce the feeling of pain, and have anti-carcinogenic properties. There has been an active study to study the effects of Capsaicin on the reduction of blood pressure. In an animal study, it has been observed that the consumption of capsaicin relaxes blood vessels and therefore reduces blood pressure. However, if there’s even a tiny chance that peppers can boost heart health, it is worth a try, especially with the rapidly growing rate of cardiovascular ailments.

There are many anti-carcinogenic foods, but only one of them adds zing to your food and spice to your life! Everyone may have a different reason to add chillies in their lives, but their anti-carcinogenic properties are one of the main reasons why everyone should insist on it! Cancer is a disease characterized by uncontrollable cell growth; however, capsaicin in cayenne peppers has shown considerable anti-cancer properties. This means it has the ability to stop cancer cells from growing in their tracks before they pose a greater health threat. The cases of pancreatic, prostate and skin cancer have been known to be most benefited from the anti-carcinogenic properties of Cayenne pepper.

Pain receptors in the body are powerful; however, they can take up all your attention and make your life difficult to deal with. So, if you are struggling with Arthritis or any other aches and pains, add a little chilli to your meal. Research shows that capsaicin reduces the levels of substance P. It is a chemical produced in the body which sends pain signals to the brain, adding to the discomfort. However, pepper can help ease that discomfort by dulling the pain while helping you experience less discomfort.

Cayenne pepper, possibly the most underutilized spice in any pantry across the world, could actually boost your health and promote wellness. It may even reduce pain and open up clogged cells. Besides, it adds zing to any meal and a little kick never hurt anyone!

How many times have we all laid in bed with sleep eluding us? Nothing is worse than waking up in the middle of the night, tossing and turning and worrying about all the problems in life, including those lost precious hours of sleep. Insomnia can trouble anyone and give you anxiety; however, on the other hand, anxiety can also be the cause of insomnia. Tricky situation, isn’t it? But, what if there is a simple solution to this problem? An herbal solution that offers peaceful sleep and much more!

Valerian root gets its name from the Latin verb ‘Valere’ which means strong, brave and healthy. This renowned herb has various amazing properties that made its way into the beautiful realm of magic. In Harry Potter, there is a mention of Valerian Root in the third year Herbology class as an ingredient in the Draught of Living Peace, and if that’s not the perfect description of the herb, we don’t know what is!

Any herb that has attained the near magical appearance due to its medicinal prowess is definitely worth trying, wouldn’t you say?

Imagine you had a long, tiring day. You come home and try to relax; however, sleep eludes all your attempts. Frustrating, right? So, the next time that happens, try brewing yourself a steaming cup of Valerian herbal tea. Often called “nature’s valium,” Valerian is an herb that has been used in ancient traditions for thousands of years. The delightful fragrance emanating from the concoction will put your mind at rest, anxiety at bay and grant you a peaceful sleep. The strong, earthy odor of the Valerian root is known for its sedative effects on the body.

So, how exactly does Valerian root work to relax us? It’s simple! The herb is loaded with antioxidants such as hesperidin and linarin. These antioxidants relieve the body of oxidative stress caused by the wear and tear of the body tissue. These antioxidants enhance immunity, induce sleep and promote wellness. The compounds present in Valerian root that promote sedative abilities such as valerenic and isovaleric acid interacts with GABA, a chemical that directly affects our brain and nerve impulses. Low GABA levels are known to be related to stress and sleeplessness; however, valerenic acid prevents the breakdown of GABA in the brain, providing tranquility and peace to the mind and body. Valerian root has proven to be one of the best herbal healthy sleep supplements in USA.

Anxiety is the reason for multiple health issues. Luckily, herbal stress care supplements in USA and natural healthy sleep supplements in USA such as Valerian root, Ashwagandha, Bacopa, etc. are easily available over the counter without prescription. NuvoMed mind and memory supplements are some of the best ones available in the market.

Valerian root has vast effects on the human body, starting with reducing anxiety, relaxing the brain and mind, and alleviating stress and its symptoms. One of the studies shows that Valerian root is linked with reduced physiological and psychological responses to mental stress and trauma. However, there’s more! Valerian herb has also demonstrated efficacy in treating conditions such as general anxiety disorder (GAD) and mild obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). How amazing is that!

Luckily, incorporating this powerful herb into one’s daily routine is as easy as breathing. Taking herbal supplements with a glass of water or milk just before turning in is simple and easy to follow without any added effort. Another way to enjoy the medicinal effects is to make Valerian root herbal tea; the earthy fragrance and mild flavor of the herbal tea are a double delight.

Life has enough anxieties, don’t let loss of sleep be one of them.

Valerian root is an amazing herb with multiple health benefits. The mythical connection sure makes it look cool and it lives up to its namesake for sure! If this isn’t worth trying, what is?
