NuvoMed Turmeric Curcumin is enriched with 600 mg pure extract of Curcuma longa per serving that is standardized to 95% Curcuminoids. Oral administration of Turmeric Curcumin was found to be effective in the management of inflammatory responses in body, especially in bones and joints, where Turmeric Curcumin significantly reduces inflammatory swelling. Turmeric Curcumin’s anti-inflammatory properties may be attributed to its ability to inhibit both the biosynthesis of inflammatory prostaglandins from arachidonic acid, and neutrophil during inflammatory states. Curcuminoids present in Curcuma longa also inhibit LOX and COX, which are known to be strong inflammatory mediators*.

No known drug interaction has been reported till date but, it is not suggested to combine Nuvomed Turmeric Advance capsule with other medication. It is also advisable to keep a gap of 90 min. between two formulations.

People preparing for surgery should avoid turmeric supplements because turmeric can increase the risk of bleeding.

Can this be taken by blood pressure patient?

Yes, blood pressure patient can take Nuvo-Med Turmeric Advance capsule, but it is suggested to stick to the dose recommended on the label and cartons and higher dose than recommended should be avoided.

What happens if dose is missed?

Missing a dose won’t cause any complications. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If you remember relatively close to the time you take your next dose then you should skip the missed dose. You should then take your next dose and continue on with your normal dosing schedule. Do not double up on doses if you have missed one to avoid an overdose.
